Description
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This protocol is designed for people who are already accustomed to using thiamine derivatives in doses above 400mg per day. This protocol NOT advised for individuals who are new to thiamine supplementation.
This package was formulated to provide four types of thiamine in bioavailable form, along with all the nutritional cofactors to support thiamine supplementation in high doses and prevent depletion of other essential nutrients.
It serves as a complete protocol and focuses on three key areas:
1. Thiamine with high bioavailability
ThiaMega includes blend of different forms of thiamine including three synthetic derivatives: TTFD, benfotiamine, sulbutiamine.
Each of these derivatives were originally developed in Japan and have been studied for their ability to increase thiamine concentrations at a greater rate than ordinary thiamine salts.
TTFD stands for thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide, which is composed of a thiamine molecule bound with a sulfur group. Benfotiamine is an S-acyl derivative which has been heavily studied for its ability to improve blood sugar management, diabetic complications and peripheral nerve function.
Sulbutiamine contains two molecules of thiamine bound together by a disulfide bond, and has been shown to improve brain thiamine concentrations and dopaminergic neurotransmission.
The molecular structure of these three thiamine derivatives allows them to pass through intestinal and cellular membranes without the requirement for a transport system. These qualities provide them with superior bioavailability compared with thiamine salts.
2. Elemental support
ThiAssist is designed to support the actions of thiamine at the cellular level through providing five minerals in bioavailable form, each having known interactions with thiamine metabolism.
These minerals include magnesium, potassium, selenium, molybdenum, and manganese.
3. B Vitamin cofactors
ThiActive B-Complex provides a full spectrum of B-group vitamins to complement the action of thiamine (vitamin B1) within the cell. These include the active methylated forms of folate and vitamin B12, along with two thiamine derivatives (TTFD and befotiamine)

My health has improved so much within the first month of using the supplements
Using the entire suite of thiamine protocol products has deepened my consciousness and understanding of how all the key components of a complete thiamine protocol interact and support one another. Relying on the full suite of Objective Nutrients thiamine protocol products, moreover, I’ve also been able not to have to question, even for a second, whether the supplements I’m taking are pure, carefully sourced, and free of needless and potentially harmful incipients. The one challenge that relying on the protocol suite poses for me is that I seem to be hypersensitive to benfotiamine and tend to experience a feeling of hyperactivity and, at times, a brief paradoxical reaction, if I reach a daily benfotiamine level even as low as 200 mg, making for complicated dosing requirements whenever I use combination products containing benfotiamine. While I can fairly smoothly titrate up to impressive levels of TTFD, when a product that contains some of the TTFD I need also includes benfotiamine at a dose greater than 50 mg, I have to set the TTFD+benfotiamine product aside and build my stack via separate sources of TTFD and benfotiamine. This means that I have generally not been able to use ThiaMega, which contains 200 mg/capsule of benfotiamine in addition to its two fat-soluble thiamines and one thiamine salt, unless I am willing also to set aside ThiActive-B (which contains 50 mg/capsule of benfotiamine and an array of thiamine-complementing B vitamins). And yet I love ThiActive-B even more than I love the concept behind ThiaMega. So I wonder whether Objective Nutrients may, at some point, consider formulating some additional products that may be easier on benfotiamine-sensitives like me. And because I rely on ThiAssist, another brilliant combination product (minerals essential to proper metabolizing of thiamine), I don’t think I can do better than I’m already doing to address my benfotiamine sensitivity. Hence my plug for some greater variety of options in the product line. As I write, though, I can report, with real joy, that now that I am relying on Objective Nutrients thiamine-protocol products, I am definitely starting to recover from a syndrome that I believed to be entirely incurable before I discovered the thiamine-focused work of Elliot Overton and his mentor-colleagues, the late Dr. Derrick Lonsdale and still very active Dr. Chandler Marrs.
I love this product. My son, my sister and I started with the regular dose package. We noticed the changes in our health immediately. After a couple of months, we switched to the Mega dose pack. It has helped with our health issues, sleep, energy, weight loss, etc… It is an amazing product. I recommend it to everyone I know.
Splendid and highly effective for my migraine brain and sensitive central nervous system. Taken daily and it stops problems and pain in its tracks.
