Thiamega High Dose Thiamine Protocol – What does it contain and who will it benefit?
Thiamega provides a high dose of Thiamine, providing Vitamin B1 in four different forms, each with unique properties. Each Thiamega capsule delivers a total of 400 mg of thiamine, composed of thiamine hydrochloride, benfotiamine, sulbutiamine, and TTFD. This combination may serve to enhance brain function and support cognition, along with promoting healthy energy metabolism.
This high dose thiamine supplement is free from fillers and excipients, highly bioavailable and capable of penetration into the brain and central nervous system. .
Benfotiamine, an S-acyl derivative of thiamine, is well known for its ability to improve blood sugar management and support peripheral nerve function.
Sulbutiamine contains two molecules of thiamine bound together by a disulfide bond.
TTFD or Thiamine Tetrahydrofurfuryl Disulfide contains one thiamine molecule bound with a sulfur-mercaptan group, which provides it with unique properties.
The molecular structure of these thiamine derivatives in Thiamega, allows them to pass through intestinal and cellular membranes without the requirement for a transport system. Once inside the cell, they deliver thiamine which can be activated and used as a cofactor in important biochemical processes.
Usage
Thiamega Dosage - How many capsules per day?
- 1 capsule per day in the morning, with or without food
- 5 capsules per day, spread across the day, is the maximum dosage for Thiamega
- Avoid coffee/tea consumption either 1 hour before or 2 hours after taking Thiamega
- Avoid taking in the afternoon/evening, as it may interfere with your sleep cycle
Before you start taking Thiamega
Thiamega contains high dosage of thiamine derivatives. This may cause temporary side effects like insomnia, anxiety, fatigue, brain fog, and trouble concentrating, especially in individuals who are not accustomed to high dosage.
If symptoms persist for more than a few weeks, discontinue immediately.
Thiamega may not be suitable for individuals with sensitivity to sulfur-containing compounds.

Thiamega, a high dose thiamine supplement, is for people who have experience with taking thiamine in doses of 400 mg or above, or those who consume different thiamine derivatives separately. Thiamega is NOT recommended for first time users of thiamine.
If you’re new to thiamine, we advise you to start with Thiamax, ThiaActive B, or Thiavite.
You can start with 1 capsule per day of Thiamega. The maximum advised dosage is 5 capsules per day.
The best time to take Thiamega as your high dose thiamine supplement, is in the morning or early afternoon, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after consuming coffee or tea. It may disrupt your sleep cycle if taken in the evening.
Thiamega can be taken with or without food.
Some individuals may initially experience a temporary period of ‘paradoxical reaction’ with Thiamega or any thiamine supplement. This may include increased fatigue, brain fog, and trouble concentrating. These symptoms may subside within the first few weeks.
Individuals experiencing these side effects should switch to a supplement with a lower dosage of thiamine, like Thiamax.
It is recommended to take a full spectrum B Complex like ThiActive B or Thiavite alongside Thiamega. Apart from this, magnesium and other mineral cofactors, like in ThiAssist, are generally advised to supplement high dosage of thiamine.

A genuinely helpful supplement along with a high dosage vitamin B complex to the digestive system, I don’t usually recommend or rate supplements but Thiamqx (along with a high dosage Vitamin B mix) is very helpful if you’re experiencing some digestion problems.
